Predominantly engineered from lightweight aviation grade titanium, this Bremont special edition is the first Supermarine watch to boast a bronze unidirectional bezel. Bronze is perfectly suited to a watch of nautical heritage like this and complements the black metal dial and its bronze hardware beautifully. The bezel sits at 43mm in diameter and 16.5mm in height and pairs with domed sapphire crystal glass for clear legibility of the Superluminova coated hours, minutes, seconds and GMT hand.
Turning the Bremont Supermarine Descent II Special Edition over reveals a stunning open case back of which the chronometer tested automatic winding movement can be seen. The movement in question is the Calibre BE-93-2AV with a power reserve of 42 hours and a Bremont-decorated rotor. As with all Bremont Supermarine watches, endurance is paramount and so the Descent II watch comes with thicker crystal on the case back, an automatic helium escape valve and crown protector to assist in a water resistant rating of 500 metres. Completing the Bremont Supermarine Descent II watch is a sporty black rubber strap with linear detailing and a stainless steel pin buckle.
